What kind of photos work best for custom embroidery?

To get the absolute crispest, most detailed stitching, please upload high-resolution, clear photos with good lighting.

What to avoid: Please avoid dark, blurry, heavily cast-shadowed, or intensely filtered screenshots. The clearer the lines in your photo, the more stunning your final embroidery will be.

AI-Generated Images: Our resident artist is highly experienced in working with AI-generated artwork! Please note that because AI images often use complex digital gradients and floating background elements, our artist will strip away the background and convert smooth color gradients into clean, solid thread colors.

Is there a limit on how many thread colors I can use?

To give you the ultimate competitive edge and a truly premium product, we allow up to 6 distinct thread colors per design at absolutely no extra charge. This is well above the industry standard for custom shops and allows us to capture the true personality of your pets, logos, and custom graphics without nickel-and-diming you for color depth.

🧺 Garment & Product Care

How do I wash and care for my embroidered items?

Machine embroidery is highly durable, but proper care will keep the stitching flat, vibrant, and free of puckering for years to come:

Washing: Always turn embroidered garments inside out before washing. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Never use chlorine bleach or harsh optical brighteners.

Drying: Air drying or hanging dry is highly recommended to prevent fabric shrinkage around the heavy stitch blocks. If you must use a dryer, tumble dry on the lowest air/delicate setting.

Ironing: Never press a hot iron directly onto the embroidery threads. If the design wrinkles after washing, flip the garment inside out and iron the backside of the stitching on a medium setting, preferably using a pressing cloth.

Can I supply my own jacket, bag, or blanket for you to embroider?

Yes, absolutely! Marsh's Embroidery actually started by personalizing personal items, and we proudly continue that tradition today. If you have a cherished denim jacket, a special family blanket, or a specific uniform you want embellished, contact us directly. We will provide you with a shipping address/drop-off instructions and a custom quote based on your item's fabric type and design size.

How long will it take to get my order?

We do our absolute best to get your items stitched, packed, and out the door within 5 business days! However, to safely account for complex digital artwork conversions and peak holiday seasons, our official estimated timelines are:

Custom & Made-to-Order Items: 7 to 14 business days.

Ready-to-Ship / Artist Designs: Up to 7 business days.

I need a last-minute gift! Do you accept rush orders?

Yes! We offer a Paid Rush Production service on a case-by-case basis. If you have a tight deadline, please email us at marsh.em.333@gmail.com before placing your order. If our artist's schedule permits, we will provide a custom rush fee quote to bump your order to the absolute front of our machine production line.
